A RETREAT IN THE PLUM VILLAGE TRADITION - Led by Joanne Friday
Wednesday May 15 2:00pm - Sunday May 19 2:00pm
Camp Aldersgate, N Scituate RI
This 5 day retreat is led by Dharma Teacher, Joanne Friday and held by the RI Community of Mindfulness. This is our 7th year and this is a silent retreat with silent meals, meditation, dharma sharing, and dharma talks led by Joanne. Held in a lovely wooded area around a lake. The vegetarian meals are prepared with love and care.
Note: The location is a bit of a "roughing it" experience with only small mattresses on wooden bunks and shared public bathrooms. Most rooms are shared with three or more people. Many people enjoy camping in their own tents.
